Companion and Daytime Care

Meaningful Company and Steady Support Through the Day

Isolation is one of the greatest risks facing older adults at home. Our companions provide genuine human connection alongside practical help with errands, housekeeping, and activities, so every day feels purposeful.

More Than a Helping Hand: A Genuine Presence

Companion and daytime care is our most flexible service. For some clients, it means a few hours of conversation and a shared walk. For others, it is a full day with errands in the morning, lunch together, light tidying in the afternoon, and someone to call if anything feels off.

Our aides are selected for warmth as much as skill. They are the kind of people who remember that Tuesday is bridge club, who know a client likes the news read aloud over coffee, and who notice when someone seems quieter than usual. For families managing from a distance, daytime care provides the reassurance of knowing their parent is engaged with someone who genuinely cares.

Driving to doctor's appointments, the pharmacy, the grocery store, or anywhere else, and staying with the client throughout so they are never navigating alone.

Common Questions

Companion Care: What Families Ask Us

We are flexible. Some families start with a few hours a few days a week. Others need full weekday coverage from early morning through early evening. We build the schedule around real life, not around what is convenient for us.
This is very common. We suggest starting with light, informal visits framed as company rather than care. Most clients warm up quickly once they experience the relationship rather than the label. Our aides are practiced at building trust with reluctant individuals.
Companion care is especially valuable for clients with cognitive decline. We select aides with dementia experience and brief them on each client's history, triggers, and communication preferences so every interaction feels safe and familiar.
